Holding the Torch for International Student, Indian CEO has helped 45000 students

Sanchari Sen Rai is the CEO and Co-founder of ECC Hive and SSR Immigration Services Inc. a Boutique consultancy firm leading 95% immigrant women team workforce that provides strategic consulting, including education plans, counselling, internship, mentoring and immigration services for higher education abroad. ECC Hive provides guidance and help them develop the confidence to succeed through immigration advice, mentorship, internship and by creating job opportunities in the organization itself.

ORGANISATION DETAILS:
Embarking on a journey with “One” Academic institution in Canada with Education Consultants Canada (ECC) and counselling “Three” students to currently with ECC Hive guiding over 40,000 + international students for 70+; academic institutions in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
Organically growing since 2007 by counselling international students to choose an educational institution, complete their studies in North America and guiding them to learn the ways to connect and integrate into the community. They have also gone on to support many of students to stay in Canada through their immigration services (SSR Immigration Services Inc.) after graduation to build lives, families, and careers in this country, contributing to the cultural mosaic and economy.

ECC hive makes the international student’s journey easier by connecting them to a world-class international education institution. This guides them to make their own decision to study abroad and propel them to reach their goals to study, work and settle abroad.

As an immigration consultant, hospitality graduate with 22 years of overseas working experience, and an Intl Ed and EdTech entrepreneur, Sanchari has received several awards, such as:

As a woman, person of color, and immigrant entrepreneur, Sanchari passionately advocates for equity, diversity, and inclusion in the international education ecosystem and with immigrants to create a human-centered world. She is trying to make an impact by inspiring other young women who come as international students and immigrants and aspire to make a career for themselves and live the Canadian dream. Leveraging her experience and her qualification, she also actively serves as a mentor for girls and women from diverse communities, culture, marginal socio-economic background as well for young and BIPOC entrepreneurial mentees.

CONTRIBUTIONS:
Sanchari is a dedicated advocate for BIPOC women and a committed guide for women and girls. She is an ambassador with the Women’s Executive Network (WXN), a mentor with The Forum, a Canadian charity, supporting over 15,000+ self-identifying, non-binary, and trans-femme women entrepreneurs since 2002. Also, a mentor with the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC), and Girls E-Mentorship (GEM), a top 100-rated charity offering a research-based mentorship program for high school girls facing socioeconomic barriers.
She recognizes the struggles many BIPOC and immigrant women entrepreneurs face on a sometimes-complex route to business ownership. Her recognition as a two times finalist for the RBC Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Award and twice a nominee for RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards by Women of Influence+ (Empowering women to advance today) have helped cement her as a leader and champion to groups of ambitious individuals.
