Dimple Arora – Spreading Love and Light
In a world where GoFundMe appeals have become increasingly common—often tied to causes close to our hearts, emergencies, or natural disasters—it’s rare to find someone who consistently steps in to help strangers simply because their work brings them face-to-face with suffering.
Meet Dimple Arora, the founder of *Mindful Evolution (ME). Dimple is a trauma-informed, certified life coach, holistic nutritionist, and emotional freedom technique (EFT) practitioner. With over a dozen certifications in mind-body medicine—including NLP, Reiki, and energy healing—she’s on a mission to help others heal.
Currently pursuing Masters in Counseling Psychology, Dimple regularly encounters people who are in need of support and compassion. One such person was *Louis*, a resilient soul on the path to recovery—but without a place to call home. Though he had potential and skills to find employment, securing a job and stable shelter proved difficult.
When all other options had been exhausted, Dimple stepped up and launched a *GoFundMe* campaign to help Louis find a temporary home. She knew she was stepping beyond the typical boundaries of her professional role, but her heart led the way.
In a heartfelt Facebook post, she wrote, “This is a last resort after exhausting all other avenues. Did you know that according to recent Canadian statistics, a staggering 35% of individuals in homeless shelters identify as Indigenous? Louis is one of them. I’ve known Louis for a few years now, and it has been a difficult and traumatic journey.”
“He was discharged from the Oakville hospital on March 21st and has nowhere to live. While we’ve managed to secure a place for a few nights, tomorrow remains uncertain.”
Dimple made a sincere appeal to her community, encouraging friends and family to tap into their abundance—and together, they raised $4,163, plus some additional private funds for Louis. It was no small feat, especially knowing that Louis had no other support system. The funds were used strategically to help him get back on his feet and secure safe shelter.
Louis was able to secure an airbnb and then a spot at Halton Lighthouse Emergency Shelter for a few months. Despite waiting lists that are years long, Louis now has a Halton housing subsidy for the next two years and lives with a roommate.
Despite facing her share of criticism and questions, Dimple stood by her decision. She followed her inner voice—something that has guided her through many of life’s toughest battles, including her own health challenges.
“During my childhood, I was plagued with eczema, asthma, allergies, bronchitis, frequent infections, daily vomiting, and diarrhea,” Dimple recalls. “This started a 32-year dependency on prescription medications and the conventional medical system.”
By the time she reached her 30s, she was battling a sugar addiction, fibromyalgia, and a body that had been pushed to its limit. “On my last day teaching high school, I collapsed in the staff room. I never went back.”
Determined to heal and motivated by her desire to become a mother, Dimple transformed into a self-described “recovering perfectionist” and research enthusiast. She immersed herself in learning how to heal—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. “I studied the body’s energy systems, the art of self-love, mindfulness, forgiveness, and nutrition. As a result, I fully recovered and felt better than I had in my entire life.”
Her healing journey inspired the creation of Mindful Evolution in 2012, born from the realization that true transformation happens one thought, one emotion, and one choice at a time.
“Now, it’s my mission to empower motivated parents and their children with the information I’ve been blessed to acquire—to help them live confident, healthy, and happy lives.”
Beyond private coaching, Dimple offers affordable workshops to share her deep well of knowledge with the community. With her head immersed in research and her heart grounded in compassion, Dimple Arora continues her journey of spreading love and light—one soul at a time.*
